Departure in direction of Ouarzazate.
We take the road linking North and South via the chain of the High Atlas. On the top of the Tizi'n Tichka stop to admire the breathtaking view over the mountains.
Continuation to the village of Telouet and Lunch.
Visit of the Kasbah of the Pacha El Glaoui, afterwards we take the Piste des Caravanes (salt track). The 29 km take about three hours and permit to enjoy the unique landscape.
We cross the Asif Ounila and arrive finally at the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, classified by the UNESCO.
Visit and free time.
Continuation to Ouarzazate.

Breakfast and departure via the secret track of Assif Ait Douchchene, greeining valley beyond the time, a surprising discovery of the Berber life.
Arrival at Tazenakht, famous for its production of all different kinds of carpets (nomads, berbers, touaregs...)
Stop for a visit of a cooperative and continuation to Foum Zguid.
After crossing Foum Zguid we head in direction of the moroccan Sahara, which begins right here. Way to the Lake of Iriki (dry lake) passing by the tabular mountains: M'Daouar Kebir and Shrir, discovery of a fossil site.
Afterwards continuation crossing the sand dunes of Erg Chegaga, for a beautiful stroll at the end of the afternoon.
Night in bivouacs under nomad tents at the feet of the big dunes.
Morning stroll in the dunes at sunrise. Return to the bivouac for a typical breakfast.
Departure following the magnificent dunes of Chegaga and the Djebel Bani, dressed like a frontier between two different worlds. A track in the Sahara to join the african village M'Hamid.
Moment of relaxation in a café at the village centre, afterwards continuation of the road running alongside the Valley of the Draa.
The Valley of the Draa is one of the biggest valleys of Morocco, supplying the neighbour populations.
Arrival in the city of Tamegroute and visit of the coranic library dating from the 14th century and preserving precious ancient manuscripts.
We will also do a tour in the cave dwellers' village with its typical green potteries.
Dinner and overnight in a magic setting in the middle of the palm grove at Riad Lamane.

Pour le retour nous traverserons la palmeraie de la vallée du Draa et ses palmiers dattiers, des champs de henné et de blé dur.
Le franchissement du col du Tizi’n Tinififft offre un surprenant paysage dans cet immense désert de roches basaltiques, avec en toile de fond les massifs du Haut Atlas. Puis itinéraire de retour vers Marrakech par le col du Tichka.
La vallée du Draâ a attiré les hommes dés la préhistoire, et son peuplement est extrêmement varié (Berberes, Juifs, Arabes et esclaves noirs venus du Sud du Sahara).
L'histoire locale opposant les sédentaires de la vallée aux nomades des montagnes ce qui a toujours agité la vie et ce qui a permis d'avoir cette multitudes de Kasbahs.
Arrêt à Ouarzazate pour un déjeuner devant la fameuse Kasbah de Taourirte puis retour sur la ville ocre en fin de journée.
