Mini-Trekk at the Toubkal
The Toubkal peaks at 4 167 m. It is the highest summit of North Africa. At the middle-hillside you will see villages with houses made of clay, surrounded by crops in form of terraces.
Departure to Imlil via Tahanaout and the Gorges of Moulay Brahim by a sinuous mountain road punctuated by small Berber villages. Each village is snuggled up against the foothills of the Atlas, and built in terraces. Succession of very varying landscapes and a luxuriant vegetation.
Passage in Asni, Berber village in the heart of the Atlas, administrative centre and crossroad for the inhabitants of surroundings mountains.
Arrival in Imlil for an ideal stroll dedicated for the visit of the nearby villages. At first Imlil, then Mzik and Arhene, which offer new perspectives on the valley, dominated by the sharp hillsides of the Massif of the Toubkal.
Lunch.
Continuation, stroll towards the Cirque of Aremd, green area at the foot of the village by the same name. It is all built of red stones and a big ancient glacier remains blocking all the valley. Descent along the torrent of Mizane, then continuation along the small irrigation canal under walnut trees to join Targua Timoulay.
Our stroll ends in Imlil where we will find the minibus to return to Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.
