A week’s walk through the sheepfolds and terraced crops, nights in huts and tents, then the climb that that you gradually make through a world of minerals … The highest point of this ascent, the Toubkal culminating at 4167m, offers you a splendid panorama with its 360 ° overview over the entire Atlas Mountains. A must for lovers of summits!

Day 1: Flight Home-Marrakesh.
Meet at the airport with your guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Aguersioual (1550m).
Meet with your support team, mule driver and cook. Climb to the Tizi N'Oudid pass, then descend to the Azzaden valley.
Night in a cottage in Ait Aissa. + 450m / -200m.

Day 3: We'll reach the village of Tizi Oussem, magnificent panorama on the dark walls of the Atagharte. Continue to the sheepfolds of Tamzolt and discover the Ighoulidem waterfalls. Ascent to Tizi Izgaren at 3000m. Night in tents. + 1000m.

Day 4: Climb the Aglzia pass (3500m) and descend to the Neltner refuge at 3200m.
Nights in huts or tents depending on the season. + 500m / -300m.

Day 5: Early departure to climb the Toubkal (4167m) and return to the refuge. + 968m / -968m

Day 6: Descent in the valley to the village of Imlil through the village of Sidi Chamharouch.
In the evening we will appreciate the comfort of a night and a delicious meal in a riad in Imlil. -1450m

Day 7: Walk to retake the road and return to Marrakesh.

Day 8: Return flight.

Meet at the airport with your guide and transfer to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time. First discovery of Marrakesh, the ochre city, its souks, Jama El F'na square, its palaces and gardens.

Transfer to Aguersioual (1550m) through the beautiful road to Asni, Tahannaoute and the Ghiraya Valley, 1H30 drive. Meet our team of muleteers and our cook. Departure of our hike, we'll go up to the village of Matate, then continue to cross the pass of Tizi N'Oudid (2000m). Then descend by a path to join the valley of Azzaden. Night in a cottage in Ait Issa (1800m), the afternoon visit with Berber families (tea at home).
Walking time: 4 to 5 hours. Altitude difference: + 450m / - 200m.

Following the track on the left bank to the village of Tizi Oussem, we will find beautiful contrasting views of the dark walls of the Atagharte. We will cross the sheepfolds and terraces of Tamsoult, go up the path to the waterfalls Ighoulidem. Visit the waterfalls, before continuing our climb to the bivouac Tizi Izgaren 3000m.
Walking time: 5 to 6 hours. Altitude difference: + 1000m.

Via mule track, we will climb the steep western slope of the Aglzim to the pass (3500m). Once on the rocky ridge we will dominate the high peaks of the Toubkal massif. We will follow the path that goes down to the Neltner refuge 3200m. The refuge is at the foot of Toubkal. Night in a tent next to the refuge.
Walking time: 5h. Altitude difference: + 500m / - 300m.

Early departure to climb the Toubkal (4167m). The rise is progressively made surrounded by minerals. The panorama of this culminating point is fantastic and offers a 360 ° overview on the whole chain of the Atlas. To the south, you can see the desert gates with the Sarho massif. Possible break, before beginning the descent, generally, by alternative routes, until the refuge. Comforting meal ... 5 hours walk. Those who do not wish to do the summit could wait at the camp. Night at the same camp.
Walking time: 5h. Elevation: + 968m / - 968m.

From the Neltner refuge, we will descend gradually on the left bank to the Marabout of Sidi Chamharouch, place of pilgrimage for Moroccans, famous for its healers. We will continue down in the afternoon to a village perched on a hill: the village of Imlil (1700m). In the evening we will appreciate the comfort of a night and a delicious meal in a riad in Imlil at 1750m.
Walking time: 5h. Altitude difference: - 1450m.

Return transfer to Marrakesh (1h30) and free time to browse the city and its souks.

Difficulty Level: 5 to 7 hours of walking, maximum altitude differences of 1000 m. Ascension of the optional Toubkal for hikers in good physical condition. Attention, in April and November, the ascent of Toubkal can be snowy.

Supervision: By a English-speaking Moroccan guide, graduated from the National School of Tabant, assisted by a cook and muleteers.

Passport: Validity of 6 months after the date of return.

Visa: No visa.

Vaccinations: No vaccination is mandatory, but it is recommended to be protected against hepatitis A and B & Typhoid.
