This incredible journey lasting two weeks offers a unique opportunity to live to the rhythm of the desert, to listen to its silence, to caress its softness and to fill yourself with the infinity of its perspectives … You are about to cover all the diversity of southern Morocco: from its mountainous desert to its plateaus, from its small dunes to the great dune of Erg Zhar … The desert is green in places, contrasting with the ochre sand and the stone desert. You can picnic in pleasant oases and camps at the foot of the dunes after unforgettable sunsets. In two words: the Saharan adventure.

Day 1: Flight from Home / Ouarzazate. Reception at airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer by the pass of Ait Saoun from which we'll observe a beautiful sight on the valley of the Draa. Bivouac on the plateau of Fayja.

Day 3: We'll load the dromedaries to cross the pass of Foum Laachar. Mountainous desert and pleasant oasis. Camp at the foot of Djbel Abbes, near a spring.

Day 4: Walk along a wadi to the dunes of Chegaga. Picnic in the shade of a palm tree near a well. Camp at the foot of the dunes and beautiful sunset.

Day 5: We'll climb on the dune ridge line to ignite a panoramic view of the erg. Bivouac in the heart of a sand dune Erg Sedra.
 
Day 6: We'll leave the Erg Sedra to cross the Draa River: Our route leads us from small dunes to the great dune of Erg Zhar.

Day 7 / 8 : From dunes to arid plateau, we take the north-east direction, parallel to Djebel Bani to the dunes of Oued Naam and Bougern. Tamarinds punctuate our path.

Day 9 / 10: From wadi Naam we'll continue our hike to reach other isolated dunes to finally reach the old village and the palm grove ouled Driss.

Day 11 / 12: The desert is green in places with its beautiful oases, contrasting with the ochre sand and the stone desert.

Day 13: We'll go up the Draa Valley, offering new, more inhabited landscapes, among irrigated and cultivated palm groves to the village of Nesrate.

Day 14: Transfer and return to the hotel in Ouarzazate. Free time.

Day 15: Return flight to point of origin.

Day 1: HOME - OUARZAZATE
Flight: Home / Ouarzazate. Reception and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: DRAA VALLEY - ZAGORA - FAYJA
We'll leave by minibus from Ouarzazate to Fayja: heading south. We cross the pass of Ait Saoun where we observe a beautiful view of the Draa Valley that we'll reach. Then by Agdez, we will discover beautiful landscapes, ksars and famous fortified villages. Stop for lunch in Zagora. In the afternoon we'll continue towards the plateau of Fayja, natural barrier before the great desert. Place of bivouac and meeting with our camel team.
Transfer time: 4 h

Day 3: FAYJA - DJBEL ABBES
We load the dromedaries and start our trek by the plateau of Fayja after a small climb to cross the pass of Foum Laachar. Then we'll start the easy descent into the reg. Discover a true mountainous desert and continue to reach a pleasant oasis where we will have lunch. In the afternoon, we'll continue walking in this mineral universe, to reach our camp at the foot of Djbel Abbes, near a spring.

Day 4: DUNES OF CHEGAGA
We'll leave this desert valley, and walk along a wadi. The dunes of Chegaga appear to us less and less small and contrast with the desert of stone. The picnic is in the shade of a palm tree near a well. Camp at the foot of the dunes and beautiful sunset on the dunes.
Walking time: 5 h

Day 5: ERG SEDRA
We'll climb the dune ridge line to embrace a panoramic view of the erg. Our walk takes us from the sand to the plateau to the bivouac in the heart of a sand dune Erg Sedra.
Walking time: 5 h

Day 6: RIVER OF THE DRAA - ERG ZHAR
We'll leave the Erg Sedra to cross the river Draa and supply water to the well. Our route takes us from small dunes to the big dune of Erg Zhar. Camp. Sunset and view of the great desert.
Walking time: 4h30.

Day 7: ERG ZHAR - BOUGREM
From Erg Zhar, we'll walk to the dunes of Bougrem. Walk on dunes and plateaus by changing the direction to the North East.
Walking time: 4 hrs

Day 8: OUED NAAM
Departure for a landscape of dunes and tamaris through a stony plateau. We'll walk in parallel of Djbel Bani to join the dunes of wadi Naam. Bivouac near the well, Possibility to wash.
Walking time: 5 h

Day 9/10: OUED NAAM - OULAD DRISS
From wadi Naam we'll continue our hike accompanied by our faithful companions to a hump to reach other isolated dunes, then finally reach the ancient village and the palm grove of Oulad Driss. Night in a campground in the centre of the village on Day 10.
Walking time: 4 to 5 hours a day.

Day 11/12: DRAA VALLEY
The desert, green in places with its beautiful oases, contrasting with the ochre sand and the stone desert. We'll go up the Draa Valley, the landscape changes again and the desert joins the coolness of the oases. We meet Berbers in the cultures and beautiful mud houses mark our course.
Walking time: 4 to 5 hours a day.

Day 13: DRAA VALLEY - NESRATE
We'll continue in the Draa Valley, offering new landscapes still inhabited, in the middle of palm groves irrigated and cultivated until the village of Nesrate. End of our hike and goodbye to our local team of camel drivers.
Walking time: 5 hours.

Day 14: OUARZAZATE
Return to Ouarzazate, settling in at the hotel *. Free time to browse the souks or visit the Kasbah of Taourit.
Transfer time: 4 h

Day 15: OUARZAZATE - HOME
Transfer to the airport and flight to point of origin.
